Well.. at least it does for me.

it does 1440x1050 as well as ever... but it fudges my aspect ratio.

but when i go to change it to 1440x900 (16:10) in my settings.cfg the game doesn't even start! This never happened with teh previous patch, 1.01 through 1.03.

ARG!

Has anyone else had this problem, and/or found a solution?!

Did you do the ini hack & then not go back to the settings (in-game) that will mess up the hack ??

Don't forget that 1.05 patch was released three days ago.

No i went into the .cfg and NOT the in-game settings.. still reverts back to 4:3

But i have yet to try the 1.05 patch.

Well the game still works in Surround Mode at 3840x1024 the problem is you must Start a new game in order for it to work now. If you load a saved game, the game will either

1: Not Start
2: Crash with an error
3: Stay on the menu screen.

Once I started a new game all was working fine in game with patch 1.05

Hey Richie ... no worries ... if it still works in Surround Mode at 3840x1024 ... that is a very very good indication it will still work for widescreens ... and so we want to know ... :D

Well a re-install worked fine.

stiull using 1.04 instead of the new 1.05 'cause there's no .exe crack for it yet.
