Now im using the standard widescreen fix on the shortcut (tried the +widescreen as well.) but it looks terrible.

Same settings as in BF2 which looks crystal clear and I mean crystal - sharp and smooth. I run it at 1680 x 1050 with everything on high - its the native res of my screen - powered by a 7800GTX.

In BF2142 it looks so poor, as though its running at 640x480 and stretched to the 1680 x 1050 - although its not stretched if you know what I mean, the HUD is correct.

Is there some other fix I have to do to solve this?

Thanks in advance.

do realize that the demo runs low quality textures to keep it small. that could be why.

I thought that, but its not the textures.

Its definatly as though the games not running at the res im forcing it to - the native res of the screen. Hopefully the full game will be a bit better.

Ill try and put some screenies up.

I re-made the shortcut which if I remember the same thing happened to me with BF2.

But I also made a custom profile for BF2142 in the Nvidia settings. Stopped Nvidia from controlling the AA and Antistrophic and all was Ok.

Looks real nice now.
