I'm currently looking for a way to enter a custom resolution for ice age 2 (the game is ws in menu) but only can use 1024x768 so it can look better...

I found the config file (is in C:Documents and SettingsUSERApplication DataIce Age 2 and the name is ice age 2.ini

the relevant part of the file is under options and is
[Options]
CheatMenu=0
CheatInfinatePebbles=0
CheatInfinateEnergy=0
CheatInfinateHealth=0
CheatLanguageSelect=0
CheatUnlockBonuses=0
CheatLevelSelect=0
CheatInvisible=0
ParticleDetail=2
Input=65536
VideoMode=2
SoundMode=4294967295
Brightness=0
VolumeMusic=47
VolumeSound=100
AdjustX=0
AdjustY=0
FPCameraControl=0
CameraControl=0
Shadows=1
Effects=1
Fullscreen=1
Subtitles=0
Rumble=0
Widescreen=1

I find that if a change the video mode to:

0 I ger 640x480
1 >> 800x600
2>> 1024 x 768

(thats the resolutions that you can chose in game menu)

T tried put 3 and 4, but I found that 3=0 >> 640x480
if you put 4>> 1 >> 800x600 and so on...

Any help/advice? (I also try to search the regestry but don't found any relevant variables

Sounds to me like you have to find the variables that the 0,1,2 and 3 are pointing to and change them so putting in 1 would be your own custom resolution for example...

It may right there in the source code though by the sounds of it to me...I don't have the game so I can't relaly help you any further.

I am also searching for a solution.... I want to use 1440x900 resolution. If anyone can help us out, please, do it! :)

If I get a solution, I'll certainly post it here!
