Hello, I'm running a 26" LCD HDTV as my PC monitor w/ a resoltuoin of 1280x768 or 16:10 w/ a 6600GT connected through DVI. Following the instructions over at the Solutions thread: Oddly it seems the game is very happy in 1280x768 -- all text is shown properly. The patch isn't even needed for this res, just a tweak to the .ini file. This should be good for 16:10 LCD owners, although it doesn't make much sense that this res woudn't be officially supported in the game if the engine was coded to use it. I was able to get the game to run at the required resolution just fine... However, whenever a movie plays, like the intro, or even the little movies of the publishers/devs when you first start the game, all I get is a BLUE screen. I can hear the audio just fine as well... Now if I press alt+enter to make it a window, then the movies and everything plays fine - except to see the whole thing I have to reduce the resolution. What am I doing wrong? -Vpr |
