Sooooo, bought a 30" and was wondering why the "Nvidia Correct Aspect Ratio Scaling" Option in the Nvidia Control Panel is not working since any Resolution is stretched to fullscreen.

Using an old 6600GT til my new Card arrives with 93.71 and XP SP2 if that helps.

I don´t have a problem with *streched*, just wondering why it does not work as it should be.. :)

Also: Quake Engine games tend to be in some kind of window mode when not set to the native Resolution. And forced to the Resolution through the INF i can´t see the Startup Videos, why´s that? :(

Try turning off the "nVidia Scaling", and use "Do not Scale" instead. Then you can use the monitor's 1:1 pixel mapping (assuming it supports 1:1).

With the 8800's, you can't turn off the nVidia Scaling with current drivers :(, but I thought other cards weren't affected?
