Hello guys, I long time reader first time post.

I had a question for you guys regarding dome theater projection. We have a smaller type dome with a projector that has a special lens to project the image on the dome.

I was wondering if there is any kind of way that I can adjust the settings of games to look better on a dome setup? I was hoping maybe someone has some FOV settings that could work, something.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Welcome to the WSGF ... 8)

I would imagine just widening the FOV would help but I'm not sure ... you could give it a try and see if it helps ... but ...

What resolution does the projector use ?
What games ? ... things are different for each game.

The projector isn't the greatest. It can do up to 1024X768.

The game I wish to do this on is two. One is Splinter Cell chaos theory online versus. The other is an Unreal Engine 3 tittle.

any help is appreciated.

Here is the way to change the FOV in Splinter Cell Chaos Theory ... I'm not sure it will work for multiplayer ...

What Unreal Engine 3 game ? ... there aren't that many out yet and so there aren't really any solutions ...
With R6-Vegas for instance ... once a way was found to change the resolution to a Widescreen or TripleHead one it automatically changed it's FOV to suit the resolution.
There did not appear to be a way to change it in a config file.

Hope that helps you some ... :D
