Hi i'm trying to get Play Beyond Good & Evil to run in widescreen properly. The problem is that it's native widescreen built around a square screen. aka it's has black letterbox bars. I was thinking that it shuld be possable to remove the bars, or zoom in panscan style to remove them for proper widescreen gameing. However everthing i have tryed has lead to zero seccuess i still am playing letterboxed with everything streched. anyone have an idea?

I'
m sorry to say there is no solution for you..

Pretty gay. I always fuigured it woudl do it just fine considering it's already widescren on 4:3 displays, but there ya have it.

the only thing i can think of is for you to use powerstrip (for ATI) or you nVidia drivers to force the game to run in 4:3 withe the black bars on teh sides. although that means that the game will lieklly be about half the swize of your monitor...

or, hook it up to your TV and play with that. Being a consoel game all of the content (text, etc.) is large enough to read on the low resolution of a television.
