[quote]I can't say this will work for every one but I had this issue as well. I use a resolution of 1920x1080 and the pixilation issue was present at my maximum resolution. What I noticed is that my monitor or game, not sure which, will allow me to select multiple variations of 1920x1080. My guess would be that my monitor display 1920x1080 @ 30Hz, 29Hz, and 60Hz. However the in game options display all of the 1920x1080 selections as 60Hz options.
For example:
Every time I run the game in DirectX 10 mode I must change the resolution to get a smooth looking screen. The game is set to 1920x1080 by default. However if I go to change the resolution and click the right arrow key the apply button lights up. The resolution stays at 1920x1080 but I can select apply. If I select apply the pixilation goes away after applying the "other" 1920x1080 settings that are supported by my setup. I would post screen captures but it is difficult to show what I’m trying to explain with screen captures alone.
Are you sure you're getting the same pixelization issue described earlier? Only the lower half is pixelized along the diagonal?
From every report of the issue thus far, it only occurs when the 16:9 resolutions has an odd height and when running in DX9. Neither of these apply to your situation - and refresh rate shouldn't have anything to do with it.
I ran 1920x1080 in DX9 and did not have the issue, but can confirm it at 1680x1050.
If you are definitely getting the same problem, I'll have to rethink my theory on when it occurs

BTW, UbiSoft finally got back to my support ticket and said they'll forward this info to the development team, but I have my doubts as to whether or not it will really get there.
I don't know all the terms since I only got into widescreen gaming about a year ago. But what you have mention has never happened with the half the screen being pixilated.
I have a Westinghouse LVM-37w3 and have had similar issues with DirectX 10 games. Crysis, Bioshock and Gears of War come to mind. However I guess I just jumped the gun on this issue. I've always had these pixilation issues with DX10 games or as I would put it a blurry screen. I’ll try and get a few screen shots just to see if my issue is one in the same.
Edit:
My mistake, DirectX 9 has never been an issue for me. However I would be interested in knowing if anyone has ever experienced similar issues in DirectX 10 mode. I'll have to get some screens together. I will test out those setting in DirectX 9 mode to see if I get the same results.
