[quote]Correction:

The vertical FOV is always 65 as designated by the engine. The horizontal FOV is automatically calculated by the engine based on your aspect-ratio. :)

Wait, does MW2 now support surround naively?

No. It still needs the fix for surround.

Then it doesn't calculate the correct Horizontal FOV.

Perhaps not for surround, but for all the widescreens below that?

That's all I care about. Where are the screenshots we usually see?

Yes. What I am saying is that the 65 FOV used by the game is for the vertical FOV and that it calculates the horizontal FOV based on the aspect-ratio. The problem with the game is that, by default, they only give you 4:3, 16:10, and 16:9 as choices. With my fixer, I overwrite the aspect-ratio with my own, and the game's engine automatically corrects the horizontal view.

Or at least a confirmed solution with comparison screenshots.
I'll add an MGL entry/placeholder if that makes you feel better. (Edit: done, check the C list.)

neato. it was just very strange coming here, as I always do, and not being able to really find info on ironically one of the biggest releases ever. I actually wondered if it was being boycotted for some reason around here

Everything going straight to mutli-monitor is a real issue lately.

Well it's easy to lose track of a game series when every new title has the same old ws/TH support, and nobody goes to the trouble of posting DRs or Solutions...

It's more that when there is a solution or stats to report it is done down there. I never check that section, I do not have multiple monitors, but news there applies to all setups like the Borderlands hack or the CoD FOV info.
