but it's only a little parameter to add for adjust an aspect ratio setting ...

they can easilly do that...

many games are compatible, why they don't do the same ?

in 2007, community which can play crysis in ultra was really small, but they have been develloped specially for this mode a full version of the game with dx10 !

they have preview there game for the futur, infinity ward is blocked in the past...

(or blocked on ps3 and xbox360 ...)

This is such a non-surprising disappointment.

It wouldn't bother me as much if I could plug my 360 controller in and slide my chair back; but somehow IW remembered to remove support for the controller when porting it over.

Really? So its not even a games for windows title?

FOV Fix is being cooked up here:

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/11502

Normal TH is supported.
Wide TH is being worked on.

I don't know if that's sarcasm or a serious question so I'll answer it in both tones.

No, it's not a GFWL title.

and GFWL titles aren't the only games that were ported over that support a 360 controller natively. Operation Flashpoint 2, Clive Barker's JERICHO, Champions Online, FarCry 2, Crysis (I believe), and Unreal 3 all support a 360 controller--minus Crysis and U3 being ported; but you get the point.

Since IW wanted to consolize this title as much as they did it's just a surprise that they didn't include support out of the box. I can't be arsed to go play around with Pinnicle either.

The whole "GFW requires controller support" thing was a lie anyway, a ton of games do not support a controller but have the GFW branding, like World at War for instance.

Personally I see no reason to have controller options in an FPS, myself.

Registering to the WSGF to beg for fixes is fine, but don't forget to address complaints to the developers & publishers too

If they really cared they would make FOV changeable, and give us dedicated servers, Talking to IW in this days is like talking to a wall.

Games For Windows is different from GFWL.

GFW is just a certification which allows them to have the tag on the box along with a few other things.
One of the supposed requirements for certification is 360 Controller support.

I asked my question in confusion because I was under the impression that most games are released under GFW now days.

But yeah thats pretty stupid that they ripped that out.

World at War and the original Modern Warfare didn't have controller support, so they didn't really rip anything out. It was never there.
