No one can post there except moderators,

Anyone can post new topics there. I did.

You must have some special powers... I can't even reply to your comment, it tells me only moderators can post in the confirmed solutions thread.

You deserve moderator powers though, so it's not like it's an issue.

But that's replying. Only moderators can reply, but anyone can make new topics. You don't even need to be an Insider.

Ah, I see... I never tried I guess. I tried replying and it said no, so I just assumed.

Anyone can post a new thread, but only moderators can reply, because otherwise we get 30 page 'solution' threads which are one post of solution and 30 pages of 'I can't get this working, help!'... ;)

This hack doesn't work for me! Even if I use the SCFIX.VBS fix, it gives me an errormessage, about a problem caused in smackw32.dll :(

Damn!

If you were to post the error message verbatim, that might improve the chances we could help you.

I've got two SyncMaster 245B's in the mail to go with the one I have now, so my question is: Can I use SoftTH with the Resolution Expander at say 5760x1200 or 5040x1050?

I've made a post at battlehacks.com asking the creator of the Resolution Expander for support, you can view the individual post here, or the entire thread here.

Cheers!

I've been talking with hellinsect and we got 1920x1200 and 1560x1600 working, expect a release fairly soon. He's just adding some more features and stabilizing the Resolution Expander, he is also going to make his little ad less intrusive, and possibly remove it completely.

In addition I'm going to try and work with him so that this works with triple monitors resolutions. The limitation is that the width cannot exceed the smallest StarCraft map width, so you may have to play at something like 2400x600/2880x600 so you don't exceed the map width.

Imagine not having to scroll sideways, just up and down, lol!

I'm still thinking of a way to get it working for those of us not using hardware TripleHead2Go. I'm not sure if SoftTH will play nice with StarCraft or the Resolution Expander, ideas welcome!

This was my errormessage.

Problem solved, was using an older version of Starcraft that did not work with this hack!

Nothing to see here anymore, move along. 8)

Here's my errormessage I get

Post that over at Battlehacks.com, that's where Hellinsect would like them posted!

Right here:
http://www.battlehacks.com/forums/starcraft-hacks/663-starcraft-resolution-expander-5-1-a.html

Just so you know, version 5.1 doesn't support anything over 1920x1080, so if you had a higher setting that's probably why you got an error!
