I am interested to see your screen shots, since here are some of my own. The resolution was reduced for more convenient viewing.

What is this "16:10" switch you speak of? I didn't see it when I determined that the game is stretched.

In the d1x.ini file there are a bunch of settings including switches for 16x9 and 16x10 aspect ratios, certainly not as extensive as the options for XL, but good enough for me :-)
