lol yeah thanks. Gettin a WS monitor was my plan originally. Didn't really want to end up spending heaps. I'm in Australia and Geforce FX5500 256MB is bout $80AU and I can sell my FX5200 for bout $40AU. Or I can get the Geforce 7800 GS which is the best AGP card isn't it? But that costs like $200AU+ :( I have a 4x AGP slot btw...lol...but nvidia recommended me that card...my comps kinda old P4 1.8GHZ, 1GB DDR400 RAM...but yeah I'm not at the stage where I need to buy a new computer.

Wow... I'd just build a new budget pc b/c a new video card literally would not help you b/c your ram/cpu is a huge bottlebeck..in other words ,If you got a 7800 GS it would be a total waste of money b/c it would be many many many levels above your ram/proc.. , also I have the 7800 GS *AGP*, it's a decent card.

on a side note.. you have a stick of DDR400 for a P4 1.4ghz proc ?......................

lol it's 1.8ghz. I got 2x 512MB sticks of PC3200 DDR400 RAM. My motherboard can take up to 2GB (2x1GB).

My point is no 1.8ghz proc uses DDR400
