So, if I use this Aspect Ratio Patcher on my 2560 x 1080 monitor...set up the resolution on launcher to 1440p for example, it's done?

Yes, that would work. Just make sure to set the game to Fullscreen so it stretches down to your resolution.

Hopefully a good example:
For the screenshots in my first reply, I set the game to 4k but I have two 1440p monitors.(5120x1440)

Thank you so much, CivilWolf!

As soon as I test it, I will give my feedback here...

Nioh Aspect Ratio Patcher
This patcher edits the pixel aspect ratio in-game.

[Instructions]
1. Run the Patcher
2. Enter your aspect ratio or full resolution (Only affects pixel aspect ratio)
3. Set the game's resolution as high as you can.(Optional)
4. Run the game.

It does not change the resolution. FOV seems to scale with the aspect ratio.

Whenever I launch the program with the fix enabled, I get "application load error 3:0000065432"

As awesome as this is, I'd hate to run my game at 4K just to get ultrawide 1440p visuals (or settle for 2560x1440). That's a lot of lost performance for something that should be avoided. Hopefully someone can find out how to set custom resolutions.

Down for now. I'm going to try to fix it. It caused errors.

What's the black magic being done here? I tried as many hex values as I knew but could not figure out how to edit this game for the life of me. Not sure why errors were happening for others, it worked on my end.

I think I found the reason it probably works for the both of us. Did you happen to have already applied the other fix, before using mine?

I re-installed the game and I am crashing now.

For resolutions other than 21:9
The fix seems to be:
1. Apply StalkerUKCG's fixed .exe to your game folder.
2. Download the patcher:
Attachment:
File comment: Nioh Patcher
Nioh Aspect Ratio Patcher.zip [21.14 KiB]
Downloaded 648 times

3.Apply the patch.
4. Enjoy the game!

Yeah, the other fix is applied as well. When I was trying to hex edit the game before I was getting the same error as everyone else. I can get the launcher to display 3440x1440 but that doesn't matter since the game itself doesn't support it.
