Don't know if there is a better answer to this elsewhere yet, but I can temporarily get a custom resolution by binding a key to an Unreal console command - no amount messing around with ini files did me any good.
In the splintercell2user.ini file change the binding for an unused key, eg.
F2=
change to :
F2=setres 1360x768x32
During the game (ie. when Sam is on screen, not the menu) pressing F2 resets the resolution. I need to press F2 every time I restart - but I can live with that. Haven't tried with any resolution other than 1360x768 but no reason why it shouldn't work.
Okay, it worked, at least for a while, and it looked awesome!!!
problem is my computer keeps crashing every time i play it(say, 5 mins into the game, 1900X1200, I can run Farcry, HL2 at this RES for hours), and what's the catch with no "non-power of two render support" detected, is it the problem? :shock: :shock: :( :? :?:
