I've tried the menu/hud fix found here, however it didn't work (extracting the fix files to the game's "out" folder, nothing happens~).
is that solution for the steam version of Dead Island only?

the game looks mighty impressive with 3D surround (also with 3d vision mod), but the menu and hud ruins the experience~

any help would be appreciated, thanks
