Widescreen Fixer works pretty good for me in Modern Warfare 2,
but i have heard it has Punkbuster-Problems with CoD4?

Nope no PB problems for me, apart from awhile ago with FRAPs

hello i have tried to get modern warfare 2 to to work with the widescreen fixer but it is not doing anything for me i am in windows 7 64bit and i have ran the game in windows mode and then turned on the widescreen app but i cant get it to work any advise would be great...

Have a bug with the newest version of widescrrenfixer and MW2..after playing some MP Matches the hack doesen work when i hit alt+oem1 key that i defined... + i must activate the hack by pressing alt +oem 1 and then again alt+oem 1 when ingame..but only works for 2-5 maps..

Yeah. That bug is known and is fixed in a newer build I have on my system.

The reason is that when you enable the fix, it only applies it once. When you change maps or go to the menu, the game is just going to overwrite the values and essentially disable the fix. You have to re-enable it again to overwrite the game values. In the fixed version, it just reapplies the fix automatically at a low interval so you don't have to.

Hey dopefish, i have a problem with the latest beta release of WSF. I've downloaded the latest release and the gamemodule of CoD4 SP,
i have set everything correct in WSF (3x 16:10, hotkey, Retail Version) but it doesn't work. when i press the hotkey nothing happens.
(latest patch of CoD4 is installed)

I've also tried Widescreen Fixer v1.66.0 and it works, partly... (No matter if method 1 or 2)
The crosshair is corrected, and the compass-hud at the bottom too, but the FOV isn't correct.

Are you using a pirated version? The fixer does not work with pirated versions of the game. If neither method works, I'm leaning towards a cracked .exe.

nope, i've got it original (retail, no steam)
