Hey sorry about that I have been busy working on my game here is the file let me know if it works I will re install the game tomorrow and try it my self, this is a back up it should work for 5760x1080 or you can mod it your self for other rez.

Just drop the file into the dir C:\Users\[user name]\Documents\DeadIsland\out\data\Menu\Scr\ if you don't have this folder structure just make it in the DeadIsland folder in Documents.

I recently moved to Windows 10 so I have to install everything back and have not gotten around to Dead Island yet, and of course I am hard core busy with working on my game.

i have just tried new patch and can confirm fix works fine on windows 10 64 bit, few of my mates run simuler setups and runs fine on theirs also, running at 5760x1080 resolution, only issue i have noticed is in a multiplayer game, friends player icons seem to be messed up and show up on left monitor,not sure if this can be fixed, but without this fix game would not be playable, thanks again for re uploading fix, its very much aprecaited

I just installed the game, copied the "MenuUpgradeCharacter" files into place, but I get:

Huge crosshair
Huge mini-map on the far right
Huge health bar upper left

I am running 5760x1080, tried editing the hud files from above, but could not figure it out correctly.

UPDATE FIXED:

1) So i figured out how to get it working, downloaded original Garden files from here:

Put the folders Hud and Scr in the folder:

.\out\Data\Menu

2) Then to prevent the crash (as this has the older MenuUpgradeCharacter file) downloaded Valcan_s version here:

http://www.corpsesnsouls.com/MGSV/MenuU ... racter.zip

From this zip file, I only took the one file, MenuUpgradeCharacter.xui, and copied it to the folder:

.\out\Data\Menu\Scr
(overwriting).

i get a big massive warning from Chrome when trying to access gamerwatcher.... ??
