VSync has nothing to do with system specs, VSync forces the monitor to wait for frames to match Horizontally and Vertically before displaying.

I used HL2 as an example of an EXCELLENT game b/c with 1 console command you can set the max Framerate to match your RR.

I sold my old 6800 Ultra, I consider the 7800 GS the exact same card but runs cooler.
