Top 3 of all time for me....
Wing Commander 1&2
( 286/16, 4 Meg ram, boot disk, SB sound card, Joystick, Tseng Labs VGA graphics card ) I grew up with Star Wars in the theaters and Battlestar Galactca on the TV and Wing Commander brought them together and put me in the cockpit.
Counter Strike 1.6
( P3/733, 256 Meg ram, TNT 2 video card, 14.4K modem/dial up internet) Now don't get me wrong I was with first person shooters since Wolfenstien3D, then Doom, Duke, missed Quake 1&2 but was there for Quake 3/UT2000. But CS 1.6 had me coming home from work at 6pm logging in and playing non stop till past midnight for allmost a year solid. Could still draw you a map of de_dust with my eyes closed.
Battlefield Bad Company 2
(AMD 1090T/OC 3.7Mhz, 8Gig ram, Radeon 5870 trifire, 3840x1024 Eyefinity, ADSL 2) 500 hours hardcore rush multiplayer, what the game has single player. Dice and Fostbite are the best thing to happen to online shooters since id's glory days of the Q2 engine. And once you you go multi screen you can never go back.
Honorable mentions Full Throttle, got to love a good point and click. Halflife 2, goes without saying. Far Cry (30 levels of ever tougher bad guys only to end up dumped on the beach with no weapons again to fight through the last few levels). KOTOR, which I played through on the XBOX but still is one of the best Star Wars games going around..
