| Post subject: | Sonic Generations Is Coming To PC |
On the 11th Sega officially announced that the upcoming release of Sonic Generations will be released on PC as well as the usual suspects, unless I'm mistaken this'll make the first proper sonic game to appear on the PC since Sonic Heroes in 2004. There is however some bad news, if the first link is correct the resolution won't go above 1080p, that doesn't necessarily mean it can't be made to go beyond that (ini hack etc) but until the game comes out on the 4th of November we won't know for sure. http://blogs.sega.com/2011/10/11/sonic-generations-confirmed-for-pc-digital-download/ http://www.sega.co.uk/news/?n=5391 |

Generations is looking pretty awesome to be honest! Classic 2D gameplay with really well put together graphics. Can't wait :) Last sonic game I loved was Sonic R. It did well on the Saturn in 97 (I think) but didn't get released on anything else for a long time after. My fav is still Sonic CD. Awesome game that one! |

Well its out, but support for multi-monitors is not looking good, from what I can find with a quick bit of looking, the multi-monitor resolutions are selectable from the configurations dialogue, however if you leave the display mode as widescreen it will just stretch the display, while if you use the "letterbox" option it will pillerbox the game. Forcing this value to anything else defaults to letterbox settings. |
