Hello all,
I'm in the process of setting up a PC Game tournament and am wondering what games are played competitively, and/or you think would be good tournament/LAN games. So far I have Counter Strike: Source, Call of Duty 4, and Unreal Tournament 2004 (or 3). So let's hear it what do you think? I will be charging an entry fee and offering prizes to go along with the tournament. Also if you are interested and are in the Madison, WI area. Let me know I'm working on getting a site up for registration/information, but am welcoming interest/informal registration.

You could also consider a timetrial of a level in an SP game... e.g. Level 1 of Max Payne 1 or something (as the game is already setup for timetrial)

Also... if you had a bunch of n64s... Goldeneye.

Some newer games that might work well:

Blur
Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 Versus or Survival
Killing Floor (Competing either for kills, or seeing who can survive the longest on their own)
