On my laptop, which is widescreen, the awesome game Starcraft runs "zoomed out" with a black bar all around. (Other old games, like my vintage favorite Wolfenstein 3D, start like this, but if I "alt-tab" out and back, they fill the whole screen. This doesn't work with Starcraft.) Any ideas?

i am not sure why, but a friend of mine has also a widescreen laptop and on it starcraft works perfectly fine (neither stretched nor black bars).

What is your vid card?

What is your vid card set at ?

centered timing - fill to screen or whatever??
