Neverwinter nights 2 comes out on wednesday. Gunna pick it up. It has been awhile saince any good RPG games have been released. I messed around with the game for an hour at the past PAX show in August, here in Washington and it looked real good. I liked how now you can move the camera all over and you have more interaction with your party members. The tool set was pretty cool also and real easy to use. Klisto :) |

wow just now the 2nd one is comming out? never played the first but i know this is one of the games i have heard the most about here and there in the forums. supposedly a great deal of gamplay was added to the first with mods. |

The two addons were fun - the main game I wasn't really all that keen on. Some of the mods are fantastic. :D |

I loved NWN. Let me preface this with telling everyone that I am notoriously bad at finishing games, but I actually finished NWN AND its two expansions. The selling point to me was the cooperative online play. A friend and I rolled through all three games over several sessions. It was a blast. Too bad I didn't have a widescreen monitor back then. Pretty excited about the new one. More Co-op online games please! |

There have been reports from users who have already gotten the game that the game does indeed support widescreen... and that makes me very happy :D. |

When I was at PAX i had just gotten my new dell 24 inch monitor. The first thing I asked the guy running the NWN2 booth was "Does it support widescreen?".....................Yes.. He said it supports all rezolutions. He was playing it on a 30inch dell if I remember right. Most games there were all on big monitors. Out on Wednesday......................Best Buy here I come... Widescreen works fine. But, it makes my E6600+7950GX2 cry (at 19x12). If you get the game, pay attention to the options pertaining to shadows as they are the main performance killers. Graphics aren't as good as Oblivion, but it hits my computer even harder. |

I think most of the developer presentations were done in widescreen. http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/neverwinternights2/review.html 8.6 from Gamespot. I'm definitely picking this game up. |
