Honestly I hadn't notice that goal until I inadvertently found the last race. I even thought everything was shown on the map from the start...

BTW it seems you also missed a drive-through :P (I found'em all, but quite inadvertently as well...)

I got both the found all the races and found all the drive throughs last night during some more capture sessions. I now have over a dozen videos of races where I didn't have to use any boost, many with no shortcuts used.

The last one I recorded was of the Mano A Mano race, in the fog, with no boost and no shortcuts and not even a takedown of the other driver. Granted, this was harder to achieve than the other no boost goals, but definitely doable.

I still haven't got all billboards and smash throughs yet. I'm having too much fun doing events. My fave new car is the Watson 25 V16 Revenge. It's only one notch lower on speed than the Uberschall 8, but has twice as much strength. It also handles pretty well and looks and sounds awesome. I even made a wallpaper of it for my desktop.

That V16 engine sure is the screaming Devil itself. I can't say I have any real favorite car, but I enjoy driving the Citizen (siren on in Road Rages) and Hawker a lot. Nah wait, I love'em all.

As I was getting ready for a "100% work, 0% fun" week-end I eventually found my 400th fence :w00t while doing a stunt run in Downtown. I now miss 2 jumps and 1 billboard.
...and 25 wins to Elite.
...not to mention the Road Rules, I turned all streets to silver, now I need to figure out how to score big in Showtime.
...then I'll check the Achievements, and then there's the Bikes part.

Heheh, to have done so much and still have a lot to do feels great. Funny to experience that "GTA feel" with a racing/driving game. 8)

The Showtime part is easy, but you still have the bikes to do so that will be quite a change of pace. I road one around for a bit, but haven't entered an event with one yet. I won a Showtime event easily first try in a Carson Inferno van.

I suppose much of my accumulated game time is due to re-entering events several times to capture videos, which doesn't count toward a license upgrade. It's a lot of fun though and helps you learn the courses by memory.

Made it to the Criterion Elite at last, and I'm a bit disappointed :
-Showtime is a waste of time. Too bad that's all I had left to do in the end.
-The rewards for the Elite Licenses are ridiculous. It wouldn't have been hard to let us unlock a driveable limo or, I don't know, a lawn mower or something. Sheesh.
-You can get 100% completion without all achievements ?!

The bikes part feels like an unfinished mod. Nice but dull. No AI, no boost, not much to do. 4 bikes and no funny chopper, trike or sidecar - and no female pilot for the ultimate bike model !? The only good thing in this mode is you have to beat the clock for Road Rules on day AND night - that would've been great for the cars too, instead of Showtime. Then again, you don't have to break Road Rules at all to earn your so-called "100% completed" biker license. :?

Ah well, I'm still having fun trying to figure out how to do double barrel rolls and 360 flat spins anyway. When I do that I'll consider myself part of the real Elite. :)

What, no actual bike racing against AI? That sucks man. And here I was thinking it would be real hard trying to dodge all the traffic while maniac bikers try to run you off the road. I was saving that for last, thinking I'd need to know the roads well for it.

Well, I went back to the game after taking time off to play FEAR 2 all the way through. I'm down to 15 wins left to get my Elite license and I think I've only done one stunt run. After having mastered a Road Rage technique with the Citizen, I'm tempted to just do some more of those and skip the finicky stunts altogether.

It seems Road Rage is the only type of event you can repeat for more wins, they just add 1 more required takedown to it. At first the Class A ones were giving me pains, esp the ones in the city where there's lots of things to crash into. Now what I do is plan the quickest route to the rural roads to the west and then get busy smackin em. LOL

It's not that stunt runs are hard to beat once you know where the jumps are, esp with that small timer being zeroed with so much as a tap on the boost. I just don't like that once the main timer is maxed, you have to be super careful not to crash or you have to do the whole friggin thing over.

I just shut down the WTR and Hotrod. They were the only two cars showing on my shutdown list and every time I found them driving around they were battling one another and crashing every time I came up to them, so it was amusing but frustrating trying to get them.

That WTR is friggin FAST and grippy man. It is the only car so far that really hugs the road. It's fairly easy to beat Road Rules just driving it around with no boost. I was flying around the west perimeter road in the hills, going so fast I could barely see the turns in time. I also took it on the freeway opposite the flow of traffic with no wipe outs, amazing car.

Your looking for 101% and 102% ;)

@Frag, Jeez I completely feel the opposite about Road Rage. It's my weakest event and I have the most trouble with it.

I actually do stunt runs with the inferno van now, can even do barrel rolls with it if you get going fast enough.

You have to be aggressive in Road Rage keeping your speed up, listening for cars coming from behind, and watching out for objects, traffic and T intersections up ahead. It does take a car that's fairly durable and good timing though. If all else fails, you can always do a big loop where there are repair shops to drive through, although they'll be closed for biz if you've been through them recently.

I have a question guys. I am desperately trying to find the last 2 of the 120 events to get my Elite license. Every event dot shown on the map is checked off as won. Do the event dots not show on the intersections if it's one you haven't driven through? I can't imagine having missed any of the intersections as many hours I've been at this game, but I suppose it's possible.

I completed all the bike events easily. They're so fun to ride, way better than the ones in Test Drive Unlimited. It makes me wish they'd put bike AI in for races and maybe even Stunt Runs and Road Rage too. Maybe they will come out with another bike pack update with something like that. I don't like that they make you do a lot of the events between 8 AM and 8PM because sunset and sunrise are two of my fave TOD settings.

Oh yeah for sure, I have actually completed all of the Road Rage events, its just I find Stunt and Racing much easier.

Yes, Just like drive throughs. You have to go through them rather slow in freeburn for them to show up on the map. I too am missing like 3 of them.

Have either of you guys tried any of the online stuff yet? That is easily the best part of it for me. Just driving around with friends doing the online missions togeather.

Hmm, I'll agree with you on racing, sort of like Burning Route combined with Road Rage, but Stunt Runs at first were very aggravating for me. Then I said screw it and decided to pick a stunt area that works well for me like others do and just exploit it. I ended up using the Super Jumps and Billboards on the bridge and waterfront south of Lone Star Ranch. Occasionally I added the huge Super Jump drop just East of the Junk Yard north of Lone Star for the runs starting north of there.

That is one wicked jump, I've seen a video of a guy getting over 3000 degrees on a flat spin from that one. I once got a 5+ multiplier on it. Air Time, Super Jump, Flat Spin, and Barrel Roll all at once. I ended up doing all my Stunt Runs with the Oval Champ and BRT version of the same car. I've heard a lot of talk about which cars stunt well, but when the bottom line becomes not wrecking after the timer runs out, I find I'd rather have the most durable car that handles pretty well.

Thanks for the heads up on the events. I guess I must have somehow missed 2 intersections. There's a handy site I saw a link to that has the map shown sort of like Map Quest with an interactive selectable legend. You can set it to show any type of event. Unfortunately that still means a lot of close comparing after struggling to take a decent screenshot and enlarge what I now have showing. I'm probably better off just driving through intersections that don't have a dot on them until I find the last 2. They really could have done the map in this game a lot better.

I haven't tried online play, I generally don't get into that anymore. Though it sounds like what you're describing is more like the typical LAN coop than mp racing. What exactly do you mean by "online missions"?
