What was the player cap in MW1? I never play competitive multi so I have no idea, but I need the info for my continued Steam forum antagonizing.

Well I see at least one machine @ 64 players and a bunch in the 24-40 range:

According to Grant Collier, MW1 producer, there is no hard-limit built into servers for the game. Interestingly, he left IW for an Activision job after MW1 and did not work on MW2. Check this out:

Here's a little clarity. Robert Bowling, IW Creative Strategist and a central figure of the current MW2 fiasco, boasts a rather pathetic PC games collection next to the hundreds of console titles he owns:

(The PC section is at the bottom of the list. Don't scroll too fast or you'll miss it completely.)

Perhaps this plays into the huge disconnect between him/IW and the PC CoD customer base over MW2? Hard to tell. Even if he completely understands the current PC gamer outrage, his job is to publicly promote/defend IW's 'line' at all costs.

I remember when I first played UT2003 round a friends, and the female announcer voice screamed "GODLIKE!" as if she was having an orgasm...

Yea that pretty much sums it up... half of what she says sounds like she is having an orgasm (people on tf2 put those on their servers, I turned off download sounds so I don't have to listen) She must have some weird fetish...

I don't think the devs at Epic get out enough... ;)

And that's a hell of a game list. Yikes.
