Damn, those screens look good! I think I may hold off though...not big on restarting this game, it's too fookin hard! :D

So I couldn't resist the really good looking screens for the CS Complete mod, so I downloaded and installed.

Wow.

Quite a significant improvement graphic-wise. Pretty amazing really. The zone looks, sounds and feels even better. Gameplay dynamics are subtly changed as well. I started a new game and I'm already done the swamps and took out the machine yard by myself (Master). It was hard, but doable. Much better - no more deadly enemy grenade lobs at your feet from 300ft away.

I'm really enjoying it thus far, no negatives yet. It's pretty incredible the amount of work that must have gone into this...

Yes, this artistpavel is terrific, have you tried his STALKER Complete 2009 mod for SoC ? Its fantastic, 10/10.

No, not yet, I may try it after I finish CS. I may wait to play Pripyat as well...if he is working on a Pripyat mod, it will be worth it.

lol i was wrong, this game looks awesome on DX11 all maxed settings on a 64 bits OS ("unlocks" some extra quality texture settings) at 5040x1050, and very stable, ive modded the scopes/bino to not stretch at super wide resolutions, plus downloaded some mods to enhance the gfx, the FOV fix and the centralized HUD by Paddy the Wak - yes it looks really great on triplehead. :bowdown
