Samsung LN-R238W.Its a great all around widescreen.PC,HDTV,and is the choice TV for XBox 360.I am more than happy with it at a Native resolution of 1360x768.Also probably cheaper than the Dell.Great Set!!! Problem is, that's an HDTV right? I heard that LCD TV's aren't the best for PC and have an overscan problem or something like that? EDIT: Hmm looking interesting actually, do you know of any proffesional reviews of it? All I can find are user reviews. |

Problem is the 1360x768 768 is very limiting for both PC games & DVD HD viewing. You need a WWWW X 1080 & HDMI HDCP of course  |

Hi , nice website ya have here well im a real noob , and after reading some reveiws and other info i lashed out and bought the benq fp202w 20 inch WS , my GF picked it up for me as I had to work, when I got home i was horrified to discover it is smaller than my standard 19inch lcd screen. So ive chucked it back in the box and will be exhanging it for a veiwsonic 2ms 19 inch screen. So what a goose I was thinking it would be a inch bigger than my 19 inch screen and wider, lol If you guys can convince me to keep it other wise its back to the shop, i cant unwrap everthing or play with it , other wise Ill end up paying a restocking fee ETC., Oh and I am a hardcore FPS gamer. |

If you play Half-Liife 2 and Doom3/Quake engine games the most, then having a widescreen won't be a problem - if you play Battlefield 2, then sadly a hardcore FPS gamer will probably be better off with a 'standard' panel. When changing aspect ratios, diagonals are going to mean slightly different things - to 'beat' a 19" 5:4 in height, you'll probably need a 24" 16:10 panel... :) I still reckon you should give widescreen a chance, though. ;) |

I agree with PS that you should give WS a chance. It is really something special and it will give you so much joy once you try it. You are the first person I have ever heard who wants to go back. |

I agre with WS just the 20 inch is so small, when 24 inch WS are a bit more affordable i will dive in then. |
