I did the whole game with only my pistol. I just kept upgrading it. It's probably the best weapon in the game. :D

Step 1, sell or remove the pistol from your AI teammate. She will use any and all ammo she finds in a heartbeat. Getting rid of her pistol means that all pistol ammo is yours now. Not only was it annoying that she would waste ammo left and right, but then she would nag you about being out of ammo.

After readuing some reviews the teamamte seems to be the biggest problem i the game - wasting health and ammo. Maybe we'll luck out and be able to mod her behaviour a bit.

I recall Yahtzee saying words to the extent that he frequently found himself fleeing from his healspray-wielding teammate with greater terror than any of the monsters. I've only played the demo, but that sounds about right.

Or even better hopefully they give PC players online coop so that an intelligent human being that you have a social relationship with (I.E. a friend) can take over. Problem solved and the games fun value instantly doubles.

Yeah well there's online coop with the 360... so i'd naturally assume there will be some way of doing that on PC.

Does the game let you use a mic for voice communication too?

Everything on the 360 has voice just because they use the Live service for it. When games are brought to the PC, they either need to use GFWL or implement their own voice solution.

Well worse things have happened than online being stripped from a port so. I am not getting my hopes up till I actually see it.

I wouldn't really be bothered if there was no voicecom in game since its only 2 player coop your going to know your friend pretty good and something like mumble can be used.

I'm getting this not for the graphics enhancements, which ARE nice, but for the inventory/weapon switch enhancements... that's a BIG deal, if you played the console demo.
