Don't count on it. The Borealis is lost, along with the dock that it was once at.

Yeah, but its only fun for a few minutes. Obviously HL2 is not designed for it.

The Portal Gun mod was a hard hack to do and came with many problems, the primary one being you could only hear the P Gun sounds and none of the other weapons. It also had very limited places you could place the portals. It was basically a reskinning of the Gravity Gun with different weapon sounds and of course physics.

Inclusion of the P Gun makes sense to me in HL2 Episode 3. There has to be something significant to explain all the hoopla about the aliens teleporting and the wealth of information Breen keeps yakking about. It would also provide a very climactic ending to the HL2 series.
