Hmmm... I registered at 2k but it still says I have insufficient rights to post in any threads. Oh well... That's pretty weak, but it looks like the 360 has the same FOV as the PC's widescreen. (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm off to find a fast download for the demo. |

Hmmm... I registered at 2k but it still says I have insufficient rights to post in any threads. I just registered and could post a reply in the Paddy thread. EDIT: I think it is important to set ourselves aside from the usual "Game whingers" by telling them that it is a good game, cause you gotta admit it is, so why not let them know? We should establish that we only have a problem with the widescreen matter and not let them assume that we think the game is good, apart from that one bit. If we don't what makes us differenct from all the other people who want to whinge about every little detail about the game? At least was can come across as a reasonable bunch. Might help. What do you think? |

If this is confirmed on the release version of the game, if I get the game I will go for the 360 version. Looks like 2K Boston should be renamed to Noobs Boston. They should have kept their original name -- Irrational Games. After all, they ARE irrational in their thinking. ;P |

So what, we missing the top and bottom of a SCREENSHOT.... here is a solution. Move your mouse and look up or down and you won't miss anything...ROFL |

I also just signed up to post my displeasure. Any that read this, please post at Paddys link on how you feel about this issue or it may not get fixed. http://forums.2kgames.com/forums/showthread.php?p=113784#post113784 It boggles my mind how they can mess up on this fundamental issue. |

So what, we missing the top and bottom of a SCREENSHOT.... here is a solution. Move your mouse and look up or down and you won't miss anything...ROFL The point of proper widescreen support is so that you see more than a 4:3 display... with their method if widescreen you see less of the game! It's a hack, unforgivable when ALL new displays for the past few years have been widescreen. I can run Quake3 unmodified (released in 1999) properly in widescreen, why can't games released almost a decade later support widescreen properly? |
