I have downloaded the game.

Your installer needs work, even looking at the step by step guide to install, you explain what each screen is about, but not what the options mean. Even after selecting English, nothing is in english apart from the next or back buttons.

The game it's self I haven't had a chance to look at or enable the extra features your team has added, but it looks promising, however a little slow.

For performance of all planned jobs on installer release the help of the professional translator is required.

This thread has escaped my attention completely, I thought I'd post since as a long-standing member of the OTTD community and its graphics development effort I'm in a position to shed some light on the "is this thread spam or not" matter.

Sergej_Sim (alias Sergej_S) is a registered member of the TT-Forums (Transport Tycoon Forums; part of which is the OpenTTD project forum). He's Russian, and doesn't speak English, so he uses Babelfish or similar to communicate on English speaking forums.

He's a representative of a Russian OpenTTD community, and an enthusiastic third party in the development of the 32bit graphics version of OpenTTD - the current version being 8bit. The version of OpenTTD he is distributing here is not affiliated or supported in any way by the OpenTTD project.

In fact, Sergej has had a stormy past with TT-Forums, as he has on numerous occasions offended art contributors by taking their works without permission and bundling them with the russian 32bit graphics version of OpenTTD. He has been informed of the inflammatory and potentially illegal nature of his method of software development and apparently due to the linguistical and cultural differences existing between him and the advisory forum parties, he has been uncooperative in making any change for a more acceptable method. As a result of this he has been banned numerous times from the English speaking OpenTTD community and every now and then surfaces under aliases or other forms of ban-evasion to publicize his OpenTTD distribution.

A thread on TT-Forums, in which Sergej publicized and documented the progress of his OTTD distribution, a rough equivalent of the very thread you are reading now can be found here and has been locked ages ago.

I do not wish to offend Sergej_S, nor undervalue his project and would like to remain neutral in whether this thread gets to live from now on. This post, however, should clarify the nature of his posts here.

I've been actively following this thread and have enjoyed it and posted honest feedback. I think what you guys have done with the game is amazing and last time I had a little looks, I didn't have too much time to play with it. Over the next few months I'll get into it and possible see if I can get it certified here on WSGF.

The matter about Sergi is best left alone for you guys to deal with. However now that someone who speaks english is on the forum. Can you let us know the best site,/ best place to download / get information about this game in English?

Are these correct?
