Since its a console port I doublt very very higly higher resolutions will be avalible its just not in the games engine, and that means widescreen too.

Monthly charges?... well Its new so they will be there for awhile.

I know pso on DC droped the charges but I think blue burst and ep 1&2 still charge on gamecube.

Yeah Blue Burst still charges but it came with Episode 4 so its was worth it if you got to it :) (i didnt lol)

The game is pretty good actually. Worlds are way bigger than before and the fighting is a lot more complex if you will. You get to master sets of weapons and learn new fighting abilities as your weapons level up. Looks pretty too :).

The 360 Version supports WideScreen though, so why cant we get WS!!!
One thing though, when i play full screen with the game set to 1280x1024, the game doesnt get stretched out. So i think that the resolution is more of a texture resolution than anything else. Like in FFXI when i go to options there is a background resolution and the overlay resolution for menus and stuff.

I have 2 copies of V1 on dreacast

2 copies of V2 on dreamcast

2 copies of ep 1&2 on game cube

and 1 copy of blue burst.

I have no idea how I got multples of some of them....

I have PSU now also got it yesterday and got to game for about an hour before I had to come to work.

I am going to beat offline mode first before starting a subscription and playing online. I might also go get a xbox 360 controller today to play with it doesnt like my saitek controller too much.

MY GOD why didnt they let us have the option for japanese voices with subs? I had the dubbing it ruins the game alot for me.

The expansion adds one widescreen resolution. I do not know which one. Maybe it is yours? 8)

I could look at the game again. My skills have increased but my patience has not.

I can confirm the standalone expansion supports 1280x720 natively.

Nothing else to report yet.

The PC and PS2 online versions shall be retired at the end of this month. The Offline Story modes should still work but may require some unprotected executables if the GameGuard is pulled.

Maybe this will present an opportunity for widescreen options in Offline.

I have figured a method for the offline mode of the standalone expansion(Ep 2) which is here. It requires a cracked executable.

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=18826

It may be possible to do the same for the original offline mode (Ep 1) if the cracked executable is created in the same way. If anyone knows of a cracked executable for offline Ep1 please send me a PM and I will give it a look.

The Japanese 1.004 offline hack for Ep1 is not cracked the same as the AOTI one and does not seem to work.
