I am also looking forward to hearing opinions on this monitor. It will have to be from others though because I can't afford spending 1.500$ just to see how well it does :)

The 144Hz is great but I would have preferred a resolution of 1440 by 5120, but I guess that would be too much to ask on 144Hz. Also G-Sync would have been nice in my case since I have Nvidia cards right now. Well, maybe VEGA will help out here :)

I wish designers would go crazy with curvature, too. This thing is elegantly flat at best yet a non-curved version would probably cost half as much...

I've been doing some gaming on 3840x1080 with custom resolution on a 43" 4k UHD. It's a pretty cool res. I agree the 49" is a low PPI. 2x 1440p would be better.
