Released a year later, Ascension is a more "videogamey" take on Games Workshop's classic. This solo-only standalone features additions like Fog Of War, XP, branching campaigns and appearence customization - resulting in a different, yet equally brainy and brutal, turn-based tactical experience. Ascension's base game contains over a hundred missions and three space marine chapters (Ultramarines, Blood Angels and Space Wolves).
