I edited that when I just came back from a game, and imo it's one of the games I have with the best multimon experience. The most important HUD elements are centered anyway, and people use voice anyway. Never text. And regarding ammo, it doesn't really matter much as the gun autoreloads. It's just fire when you're able to fire.
I just find it a bit harsh to immediately stamp "affects gameplay" on it, as it really doesn't imo. There are other games which deserve that statement way more, where you will find skillbars on the sidemonitors, a minimap in the entire leftcorner of the screen and such...Icarus just plays very well in multimon.
