Free "suscribe for more contents" shooter. Launches from a proprietary app and needs an internet connection to play. Despite the minimal equipment and single species to hunt in the free version, the tracking is pretty fun and the graphics are great. Almost feels like the Trackmania Nations of hunting games... except for widescreen support.

The game supports all resolutions but the FOV is correct in 16:9 only. All other aspect ratios use the same FOV as 16:9. :/

4:3 (1400x1050)


16:9 (1600x900) = perfectly Hor+


16:10 (1680x1050) = squashed 16:9


TripleHead (3840x1024) = stretched 16:9

A big thanks to Bifurk8 for this solution, it works perfectly fine, both AR and FOV look great on triple wide.

1. Start The Hunter at your desired resolution in fullscreen.
2. After the game launches, press ALT+ENTER as if you wanted to change to windowed-mode.
3. Instead of reverting to a window, the screen will flicker. When it's restored, you will still be in full screen but now the aspect ratio and FOV will be correct!
4. All 2D part menus and HUD looks good too.

You may have to repeat these steps each time you launch The Hunter.
