I don't know if this helps you, but I played the demo just fine at 1440x900. :D

I'm having a horrible time getting this to look decent on my LCD HDTV.

The contrast is the problem. I lose all fine detail in dark areas. For example, I can hardly see any details on the characters uniforms, they're almost pitch black. By the time I turn gamma up enough to get the fine detail in the dark areas, the colors are completely washed out. This is on a display that supposedly has a 5000:1 contrast ratio.

I would prefer not to mess with the contrast setting in my video drivers as it's set suitably for every other game I play. Even Bioshock, which had some dark areas, didn't have the contrast issues I'm getting with Jericho.

Dang LCDs, OLED technology needs to be maturing at a faster rate :(
