Is there someone out there playing DOTA 2 on an Eyefinity or Surround rig that could test resolutions for us? Looks like this could be Certified.

Sure. I'll fire it up here in a bit. I'm expecting the same support as any other Valve/Source game.

Edit:
I updated the DR with the resolutions available to me. I could not test some of the 16:10 resolutions, like 1920x1200. I fully expect the game to support it, though.

Thanks. We're actually going to adjust the requirements for 1920x1200 since those monitors are becoming less common (with 1920x1080 advancing). If we can get 1400x900, 1680x1050 tested, along with the 16:9 and multi-mon resolutions, we will assume that the title supports 1920x1200 and certify.

Issues with games supporting larger common resolutions is not common. Older titles DX7/DX8 sometimes didn't support 1920x1200 or 2560x1600. Potential issue these days is a game having a minimum res of 1024x768 and not running on 1280x720.

The new update for DotA2 made eyefinity unplayable. The hud is stretched out and cover half of the game view.

Technically that's a scaling issue not a stretching issue, a stretched HUD will stretch itself based on its designed resolution and the resolution used, so if you go from a 16:9 aspect ratio to a 48:9 the HUD gets stretched 3 times horizontally but keep the same ratio vertically.

I have not found a workaround.

There is some talk on the steam forums about this. According to 'some' Valve will be looking at it after the tournament this weekend(which all their focus has been on).

I am sure it would take about 5 minutes for them to update the code to keep hud in center monitor or something of that nature. The store and such will also have to be modified.
