Read Full Detailed Report - Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi

Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi is action driven shock-style horror first person shooter game. You face the challenge of freeing your family and friends from the captivity of a Romanian Count at his castle. As the game progresses it stands clear that all is not what it seems and violence becomes the only way to save yourself, your family and mankind. The first objective of the game is obvious. You have to locate and rescue each of your family members and friends held captive. As you rescue your family, you'll learn about the Count's real goals. Among the more unique features in the game is the time limit (you'll have to rescue everyone before midnight), and that the environments are randomly generated each time you play the game.

I'm guessing no-one has heard of a patch for this game yet? I want to wait so that the lighting issue is fixed and the game is playable in eyefinity.... I bought it straight away due to the Gold A rating on here. :-)

Not a patch so far, only a promise! I am also suffering with the lighting, the more the problem is chronic the game's own engine, the Frostbyte 2, battlefiled 3 have multiple users complaining about the lighting, myself on the first mission where you control the tank, i played only with the inner vision because the sun was too strong in this part!

i just got this and its a joke. 30fps cap, still needs you to use button A and B etc even if you dont have a joypad. The cars are faster with keyboard controls then using a wheel

The framerate cap has been fixed in the latest patch, sort of: you must turn vsync off in the graphics options to remove it.
Performance can still be dreadful without it though.

BTW comparison screenshots for the DR would be most welcome ;)

DR completed. :steve:
I just started playing and notice duing the SF stage and the start of the desert stage that the game gets unplayable due to sun glare, whereby I can't see anything at all while driving. Whether realistic or not, I guess is debatable, but it sure isn't fun. I'm running 2X 6870's in xfire on 3X1, 5940x1080. Using Catalyst 11.11 with 11.11 cap2. Did you have the same problem? I haven't tried with disabling xfire or going single monitor, but I'll try to do that next. Honestly, if it won't work in 3x1, I start to lose interest...
The "amplified light sources" issue also affects Nvidia Surround... I concur, it's annoying to have to clear stretches of sunny tracks blindly: this should be counted as a blemish.

wait till you get to the last level, the blinding sun is just STUPID! i had to run it in single monitor to finish the game. So annoying!
