Just a little heads-up for the new donation box (left nav):

If the WSGF has provided valuable support to you, consider dropping a couple bucks in the pot. Every little bit helps.

(FYI-I'm not an employee or recipient of these funds; just a community member trying to do my part) :)

...but that is way down there for my screen

About that, I think we have waaaaaaaayyyyyyy to much stuff on the left side of the board. Perhaps some stuff can be removed, shortened or replaced because noone is every gonna see the stuff at the bottom.

Good initiative about the donation thingie though.

Well tomorrow or the next day the raffle thing will be removed at least.

What if the WSGF logo was shrunk down to the same size as the header banner ad, so that the HOME in the nav bar lined up with the Thread title?

Anyway back on topic for me.

I would love to donate but I can barely support my self at this time.

I think it's great, takes a full page when the posts are almost at page limit, works well!

I am trying to make the left nav match the forum page length. I did move the "Community" box down. I also removed the raffle and NVIDIA XHD boxes. I moved the donate box below the Scan ad. Need to make sure they get as top billing as possible. I've been toying with putting the forum menu at the top of the page, instead of the left nav.

Wow the donations for Racer_S is really going up fast.

so far I donated to DopeFish and Racer_S.

though I have yet to use any of Racer_s fixes, but he deserve it anyway and I'm sure I will use it some day when I decided to play any of those games.

btw: do we really need $1000 for 3 19" widescreen monitors?

don't they cost under $200 each? 3x $200 = $600. that's enough money already.

lets just use the rest of the money to send a stripper to his house.

I already have the ASUS monitors that I have (replacements from ASUS). They are VK222H 22" panels, and they retail at Best Buy for $300 each. 19" widescreen wouldn't maximize the DTH2Go, as it would only go to 3x1440x900. This gets us 3x1680x1050, and allows Racer_S to test to the maximum resolution.

And, with all that Racer_S has done, why should we skimp on monitors with 19's?

When someone puts all the time and effort into helping the widescreen/surround gaming world that he has done, well, I have no problem in seeing to it that he has the right tools. I don't see how he has managed so far without the ability to test what he's done. The investment to me for three 28"widescreen monitors and a digital TH2GO was not a small one. Not to mention the computer upgrade and ATI4870 that I bought (maybe I should have gone with Nvidia but I'm a newb) and I want to see as many games as possible take full advantage of it. These donations are to me, are a good investment. Great work on all counts. everyone that contibutes deserves kudos too.
