Hello from an amazingly frugal builder.

Current setup:

3x monoprice 10509 27in 2560x1440 - $300 each
Ergotech 100-D16-B03-TW Triple Horizontal Stand with telescoping wings - $150
2x GTX 970s in SLI, $300 each

Computer specs:
MSI|X99S SLI PLUS - $200
CORE I7 5930K 3.5G - $500
4Gx4 CORSAIR DDR4 2800C16 - $200 total

Total plus accessories and power and whatnot, ~$3000. Cheaper than a Mac, as I like to say.

My first real surround setup, up for tips and whatnots.

Good tip, I have about 2 TB worth of SSDs in this baby, nothing spins except fans.

Nice setup, nearly took the plunge on the MSI X99 SLI Plus with a 5820k myself the other week, but since Skylake is nearly here i decided to hold off.
Can I ask what you upgraded from processor wise, and how are you finding the 5930k...(I think i'm still a little tempted :) )
