If the footnotes on the AMD page for the 6990M (the M is important it means its a mobile chip) are anything to go by, then you'll need a laptop that has 3 display outputs, and at least one of them has to be a Display Port. If this is the case then you'll need ether 1 monitor with a display port in it or an active display port adaptor.
The other option is a display port hub.
