Post subject:  Hey all...

Name is Kelly, Live in Atlanta and I have found your site to be most useful since going with a 5870 and eyefinity a couple of months ago. Now I am addicted to widescreen triple monitor play. Once the MW2 widescreen fixer stopped working I couldn't even stand to play on a single 22" anymore. I have a decent setup using the ergotech triple mount with 3 x 22" monitors. P55M-UD4, 4GB Patriot Sector 5 at 1910Mhz, Raid 0 1TB, and a core i7 860 OC'd to 4.011Ghz. Using the Antec Skeleton case because I got tired of opening all the comps in my house to clean them, this case makes dusting a breeze. Here is an older link of our gaming room on youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uQ-oB3GD6g , except now I ditched the 4870's xfire for a 5870 Hybrid setup processing PhysX on a GTS 250 with Eyefinity.

I am pretty decent guitar player and play mostly Metallica music, love to play thrash on my ESP LTD EC400. Anywho...

Nice to meet ya :)

Welcome!

Wow,... Liquid in a Antec Skeleton -> really cool!

How's that GTS250 doing as a Physx processor?
Would it give METRO2033 a boost?

And Yes, Eyefinity is really addicting....

Any game that employs the use of physX will run better, basically that GTS250 is taking the load off the CPU from having to process software physX. My 3DMark scores (both 06 and vantage) went up almost 2000 points when I completed the hybrid setup. A great test is FluidMark, its a benchmark tool for physX, it will tell you if you are using software or hardware physX rendering, with software I was getting about avg. 16 - 20 fps and with this hybrid setup I avg. 210 fps. Their is a new driver mod out there that makes setting this up a piece a cake and works with the latest Nvidia and Catalyst drivers. http://physxinfo.com/news/2789/hybrid-physx-mod-1-03-available/

That link will get you started with the software 1.03 is the one you want and get fluidmark as well for before and after tests. Also provides detailed setup instructions although its not that difficult at all.
