| My original non-cracked Steam .exe has one value for the regular 16:9 [39 and so on], but when I replace that with the 3440x1440 HEX value, the game won't start at all anymore, "application load error". |

I still hope someone will find a fix for those visual bugs, they are just too annyoing to ignore, especially when crafting stuff or grinding through some battles.
Thus, I've gone back to the original .exe for now, black bars are still preferable to those transition glitches. |

| There is no "installing", it's just replace & run -- and there is no aspect ratio distortion, unless something somehow went wrong on your end that shouldn't have been possible to go wrong. Most likely you're simply referring to the typical character design for DQ that's extremely simil... |

Im playing Dragon quest @ 3440x1440 21.9 and ive tried Jacks fix, downloaded and extracted to game file but its not worked...im trying to figure out what im doing wrong, can anyone tell me where i need to extract the patch to please ? | oh sorry i dont have a game i cant tested for proper . btw just use jackfuste fix Happens with jackfuste's .exe just the same, sadly... and yeah, without the game it's silly hard to fix stuff like this, no need to apologize at all.
