Got a tweet from Mike Gamble about this issue: they're fixing it, but he gave no ETA.

Apologies for the quick posting! I had it on and just loaded my final game save and in conversations was ok, didn't noticed that until now, I'm experiencing the same issue with the UI. Although, removing the 3DMigoto files doesn't solve the issue, it seems like a game issue now. Definitely a game i...

Patch 1.06 is out: no proper 21:9 fix.

3D Migoto fix from Helifax still works, I've noticed a little performance hit though (but it also may be windows 10 preparing the system update + my older CPU)

Being a simple user like you two, and making an educated guess here, I see two common factors: 1. Windows 10 Creators Update 2. AMD card While I would assume that the latter would be very unlikely, given the wide range of issues that the former still holds, I could safely assume that it would be the...

Game will not start for me either after extracting the files to the ME Andromeda directory. Am I missing something? that should do it, that did it for me and game starts normally Can you not read? I did extract the files to the ME:A directory. The game will not start. So 'that should do it' is not ...

TAA= no flickering... yay...

TAA is the way, in this instance, I didn't minded the FXAA, but with this issue, TAA is the plausible choice.

The epiphany came today, while browsing the masseffect subreddit and finding this: https://www.reddit.com/r/masseffect/comments/668nz2/no_spoilers_mass_effect_andromeda_pc_bug/ then through Google, I've found this EA Support thread: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Mass-Effect-Andromeda-PC-Scree...

Setting to Temporal AA from FXAA and scaling the FRAMEBUFFER to 32Bit instead of HALF16 (64Bit) did the trick, ZERO flickering while landing on Havarl.

Definitely a game engine issue as I've seen spread with people facing it way worse than me!

Does that flickering happen just in cinematics or everywhere? What GPU do you have? Is it an AMD one? Cinematics+Quest Cinematics/Dialogues, only a few, apparently in lighting intensive instances (Landing on Havarl, Beacon of the Asari Ark) doesn't happen in any other instance, for example on dialo...

Found another instance where I experience flashes, worse than before: while landing on Havarl, the screen goes black for almost all the landing with brief flashes of the Tempest descending at the beginning, and then showing it at the end. May it be something with the lighting? Tried to replicate th...

I watched the video. I see the screen flashing a few times. Other than that I can't see anything wrong there... I've done the Asari Ark plot (which is where the video is from) and everything looks fine on my end. What am I looking at exactly? You can always revert to use FWS if that fix works bette...

I have no idea why you see those flashes. I replayed that section and I have zero flashes there :-s This fix should eliminate all the flashes that were previous when using FWS. Going to try again with VSync on :) just playing the game. One question: is it normal that shaders takes a bit more of tim...

How do I install this? Forgive me if I'm being a noob, but if I drag and drop the files into the Andromeda directory my game wont start. Just copy them in the game folder and launch the game from Origin :) easy
I did do that, but my game wouldn't start after I tried it. Any ideas?
T...

Right guys, Here is the fix (wrapper + shader) that removes the blackbars in Surround. Now I haven't tested it on AMD Eyefinity or 21:9. I only run 3D Surround. But 99% chances are it will work for everyone;) If not, I am sorry :( Like stated above, I am not sure it will work with any other type of...
