Right, discovered the issue - the HUD uses all three screens and isn't centered if you use a bezel corrected resolution, mine being 6040x1080 |

I've just picked this up in the steam sale - and I've got a problem.
I'm running 6040x1080, and my hud is spanned, not centered. Because of this, I can't see any details, and I end up not knowing a lot of things.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks |

I understand your point - But you are missing out some key facts. The main reason for this distortion is Image Projection. Video games use a Rectilinear projection. Rectilinear is favored because it preserves straight lines. However, the disadvantage of this is that the maximum FoV is <180. If you w... |

Right, after a lot of fumbling around I discovered my issue - Anti-Aliasing. I had it on 8x for skyrim, and with the triple monitors it seems like it had a disagreement. Knocking that back to 4 and turning on FXAA is full 60fps. its gorgeous =] It's a similar story with the other games too - I'm gue... |

Hey, I finally got my third monitor and my second 570, and I am blown away by how amazing triple monitor gaming is. ..However, not everything is fantastic. I am getting a pretty high amount of mouse lag in almost everything when playing in triple screen mode. Even Minecraft. The only game I've teste... |

Have you tried using SoftTH rather than standard Eyefinity? Since you have different sized monitors, it might work better for you since you can keep all of the monitors in their native resolution, and position them around eachother correctly relative. Rather than skewing the image to fit, imagine if... |

You've slightly misunderstood my question - it was mainly hypothetical. I know that setting it up to span would work, its just my curiosity with setups that I cannot personally use and how things work on a sliiightly more technical level. Also thelolotov - That sounds like a fair enough explination.... |

Hey, I've got a couple of questions, mainly out of my own curiosity since I can't seem to find answers anywhere. I know that things like Eyefinity/Nvidia Surround/SoftTH essentially render the image at a superwide resolution, then split it up and send a part to each monitor. MatroxTH2G is similar, a... |

I've got another question related to all this, after i've been doing a bit of reading. What actually causes edge distortion? I mean, does the human eye technically get edge distortion? is it just a thing due to how a lens works? why is it that things are essentially smaller the closer they are to th... |

Aah, indeed they do. From what I can figure, I'm guessing that D3 actually has a very low angle of view, but it must be that the camera is pretty far out. when going incredibly widescreen, it looks like the FoV is changed relative to that, so the middle screen stays exactly the same. Well, that's de... |

Thanks for that answer, as you probably could guess I understood all of it except for the first paragraph. Well, the first bit of the first paragraph. Since you say that D3/TL2 do have the "fisheye" effect, how come the distortion not noticeable, and it looks like there is no.. "point" that the came... |

Hey everyone, this has been something that I have been struggling to get my head around for years, and its gotten to the point where I figured eh, I might as well ask. And since im getting 3x1080p soon, I know if I dont figure this out I'm going to go mad =] Essentially, I'd like to know a few diffe... |
