You can also set a custom FOV via a CFG file. The info has been on PCGW for a while. 1) Go to <path-to-game>\Configs 2) Open DS.cfg 3) Find [Windows_Config,/Types/Config] 4) Add this line: Graphics.FOV=XX underneath it, where XX is your desired field of view (e.g. Graphics.FOV=90). No issues with th...

I've encountered this solution while browsing the Steam forums ( http://steamcommunity.com/app/29900/discussions/0/864946671947928615/#c792924411950815780 ). Props go to deathbuffer . It reads as follows: Just for reference, here's the simplest solution for playing fullscreen in 16:9 with vsync supp...

As far as I recall, the weapons would still stretch regardless of what FOV and AR you set. Is that right?

I think that lack of Surround/Eyefinity was done on purpose. Just imagine how these tentacles coming out of his spine would look like on triple-screen. :)

If you could describe the method to get un-letterboxed 16:10 and add it to the Detailed Report along with before/after screenshots, that would be awesome. :)

OK, I'll try.

[quote]Apparently, these are the same issues that plagued Dark Sector. Broken FOV and aspect ratios. 3D world baseline is 16:10, but 2D UI & HUD are only correct in 16:9. Everything else stretches. Resolutions above 1920x1200 do not work correctly.Actually, that's incorrect. In fullscreen mode, the...

You can apply scaling via Nvidia Control Panel. Select Display>Adjust desktop size and position. Then select 'Perform scaling on GPU' and tick the 'Override the scaling mode set by games and programs' box. Now you're all set.

To be honest, I think you might be better off with this game on the PS3...

You're missing the point. I'm not asking for advice about which version is superior. See, the game has completely broken FOV. Personally, I want it to be fixed ASAP, or I'll turn into Jackie Estacado.

OK, the FOV solution, as well as various useful tweaks, is described here. Unfortunately, it's written in Russian, so you'll have to use Google or Bing to translate it.

Post in this thread if you have trouble understanding the way the solution works.

My zoom level is at 100%.

Other browsers (e.g. Steam) work perfectly fine. It's IE9 that bothers me.

Also, how can I export a list of fonts I have installed, so I could show you the result?

All text on the site is written in bold. I don't know why. I haven't changed any settings in my IE9 lately, so I don't think it's on my side.

What's wrong people?

Why not just try and submit this bug to the developers? The game gets updated on a regular basis, which means that they are actually working to resolve all the issues.

Recently I've discovered that the gameplay of this game is actually hor+ rather than 16:9 anamorphic. Right now I don't have much time to describe a solution in details, but I'll post it as soon as I can.
