Clem, how much RAM do you have? From what I've read Readyboost is pretty useless if you've got at least a gig or 2 of RAM.

For gaming (especially at extremely high resolutions,) the video card is usually the bottleneck, not the CPU. You may want to wait another couple weeks on the vid card, as the 6900 series (5800 replacements) are supposed to come out.

One note about LED, what the industry is calling LED displays are just LED backlit LCD's. So they tend to have most of the same restrictions as traditional LCD's. LED can increase color gamut by a bit and dynamic contrast, but I don't think it affects viewing angle much.

Do you know if it only supports 3 monitors, or will work with dual?

275 should be fine, but as mentioned, if you're going to use it with a 1920x1080 monitor, performance won't be great in most newer games. I've got no idea how tough WoW is on vid cards. You may be fine.

It just seemed like a pretty weak game all around compared to GTA4. Graphics were OK, and it plays great in S3d, but the depth of characters just wasn't there, and ya, way too short.

I liked Tron 2.0, but never played it too far. Don't remember why. Probably broke my computer or something and then never got back to it when I rebuilt.
I think I remember seeing the box around, maybe I'll see if the CD is there and attempt installing it in Vista.

I assume you meant 2x DVI - VGA adapters + 1 DP - VGA adapter? First I've heard of this issue as well, (and it took a bit of googling to find any other reference.) Most DVI ports are DVI-I, which is digital + analog. Seems AMD cheaped out on the 6850's and only used a single-link DVI-D (digital only...

Have you tried changing the resolution setting of the game (usually changed inside the game) to your th2go resolution? With my dh2go if I have the single monitor res active it only outputs to one of my projectors as well.

Here's what a little thing called the search bar can do for you.

I think he may have been looking for eyefinity+HD3D (shutter glasses,) which the above thread is not. It's using anaglyph on 120Hz monitors.

nVidia's 3dvision doesn't support polarized screens, so you'll have to go with iz3d or tridef. I believe the iz3d monitor is capable of working multimonitor via triplehead2go. Each iz3d monitor requires two inputs, so 2 triplehead2go boxes can take two connections from one video card and split them ...

It would be foolish if they didn't. That would just be one more reason to go over to nVidia. Honestly, all their technologies should play nice with each other. I agree, but the problem is that AMD doesn't really have their own 3d solution. They rely on tridef and iz3d for the 3d part, and just allo...

So no negative (overlap) bezel compensation on the MV103, correct?
The MP102 is substantially more expensive isn't it?

I've yet to hear any reports that Eyefinity and HD3D will work together at this point. I'm hoping they will, as I'd like to use it with my dual projectors.

24FPS on 60FPS uses 3:2 pulldown. It's not bad, but some people notice judder (that sequential frames are on the screen for different amounts of time,) but it's not something that bothers me. So yes, 24FPS content will play over a 60Hz connection. Some 120+Hz TV's can do judder-free by using 24Hz co...

I'd buy on features more than price/performance. Not sure how eyefinity stacks up against nVidia surround. Eyefinity is more flexible, but for 3 monitors either should work fine. One thing I'm not sure if you're aware of, the 6870 is not the successor to the 5870, they've messed with their numbering...

Finally got my dual projector set up. My screen is a total hack, and my projector mount needs refinement (for stability and adjustability,) but it's better than I was hoping for (given the above.) Does the MV103 allow for negative bezel compensation? I'm definitely in if it does. If not I need to ge...

This model has no edge blending or geometry correcting features, correct? I'm going to try and build my projector bracket this weekend to make sure I can get the 2 projectors to work together decently before spending more than I paid for my vid card. I'll let you know early next week. It's guarantee...

As mentioned above, the strobe effect would be terrible at 48Hz. I believe single projector theaters typically use 144Hz for 3d (3x24FPS per eye.)
