Posted this on 4chan a few days ago thats why i have all the specs in the pic. Ha! I've got that AK Octane chair! It's quite comfy and the rollerblade wheels overcome everything. :p I had to take the back off because it started cracking at the connection under the seat, so it's topless now, but sti...

Noticed the trend in the last few pages that almost everybody has a corner desk! Wish I had one lol, no room for it since my computer room is also my bed room. I hadn't noticed that, but you are right. I love mine, found it on Craigslist for $60, couldn't have gotten a better desk for my needs espe...

Yeah, just get something cheap like a GT 430 and you're good to go.

I agree, I'd just make sure it's a card with active cooling as opposed to just a heatsink considering you are already running two hot GTX480's.

This is a pretty good game. This playground just looked so fantastic, really digging the lighting.

[quote][quote]just tried it 200 is the best It's crazy that we even have to set it that high. I didn't even notice a difference until I set it around 150. I agree though, 200 is definitely 'just right'. Do you have it set at 200 on EyeFinity/Surround ? I do, it seems like for every 20-35 I set it u...

[quote][quote]when i change the fov it does not do anything EDIT: Correction. It does work. Even though the .cfg seems to suggest 85 is as high as you can go...or at least that's how I read it...I said the hell with it and put in 110 and it works and it looks a hell of a lot better. It's finally pu...

Patch installed, detected my bezel-corrected resolution just fine.

when i change the fov it does not do anything

It won't change for me either. It's like the camera is too close and I get dizzy, I feel like the view should pull back a few inches so I'm not right on top of my gun.

[quote][quote]Yeah running out of VRAM would cause some nice stuttering. There is no possible way that I'm running out of VRAM with 3GB. The highest VRAM usage I've seen yet is 1283MB. Unfortunately, SLI doesn't work that way. Each card needs the same data in its own local memory in order for SLI t...

Double check your settings and make sure your SSAO resolution and SSAO sample are not set any higher than this. Even at 4.9Ghz I get major lag if those are set higher than in the screenshot below.

...Is everyone else having the problem where the game just freezes for a few seconds at random times? I have crossfired 6950s and I was getting bad lag in battles but i turned to physX to low and that seems to be fixed, however I still get this random freeze every now and then, happens even when no...

I can also confirm that the alt + enter fix works. It just takes a second too. Its practically instant on my setup. The game is crazy addicting and the graphics are beautiful. I mean they really are outstanding and I get a kind of Arma 2 feel with the visuals/player movements. I think it's a bit fu...

Hey guys, I think I just found a workaround for the Hunter running in triple-wide resolution with the proper aspect ratio and FOV. 1. Start the Hunter at your desired resolution in fullscreen. 2. After the game launches, press ALT+ENTER as if you wanted to change to windowed-mode. 3. Instead of rev...

I posted this same question a few months ago. He said he was going to reinstall and work on it, but I suppose other things got in the way. He is doing something though, because Black Ops has been updated.
